Craft Something One of a Kind

A thoughtful gift can fade quickly, but shaping jewellery together creates a shared story. This kit lets you carve your own piece in wax at home, then have it cast in precious metal, turning a simple evening into a memory you can wear for years.

What the gift experience is

This is a complete do it yourself jewellery design kit by Cahve. You receive wax blanks, carving tools, and guidance so you can shape a ring, pendant, or earrings. You carve your design at home, package it, and send it back to Cahve. They cast your wax model in solid silver or gold and return the finished piece. With the kit you will gain exclusive access to their online support platform - The Makers Table - for design ideas, and video guidance. There really is no previous experience needed.

Who it is for

Best for: Couples who enjoy calm creative time together or anyone wanting a meaningful keepsake made with intention.

Not ideal for: Anyone looking for an instant gift. The casting process takes time and patience.

Variations
  • Choose between ring, pendant, or earring shapes

  • Choose silver, gold or platinum for the final cast

  • Choose simple smooth shapes or detailed textures depending on your skill and patience

Our Take & How to Enhance the Experience

Think about how to turn this into a design night that feels genuinely special. We always love a good playlist in the background, a few candles lit, the table cleared, and snacks or a drink within reach. Think about what an official workshop provider might do and then remember you’re in an even better position than them. You actually know what you both like.

Our recommendation is simple. Slow down and take your time. Talk through ideas, sketch, test, change your mind, and enjoy the process rather than rushing toward a finished result. Choosing complementary designs instead of identical ones often makes the experience more exciting. It gives you freedom to do things your own way while still ending up with pieces that feel connected and harmonious.

When it comes to creative crafts, focusing on one strong idea usually works better than trying to fit everything into a single piece. Let meaning lead the design. That might be a shape or texture that represents your connection, a shared memory, or even an inside joke only the two of you understand. Some people add something subtle, like initials or a tiny hidden detail carved inside a ring band. Others pair the finished jewellery with a handwritten note explaining why it was made that way. Small, intentional choices like these are what turn a craft session into a lasting memory.

Conversation fuel

What do you want this piece to remind you of in the future?

What symbol feels most meaningful to include in your design?

What is a small moment worth capturing in metal?
