Step Into a Studio Where Your Only Job Is to Let Go
When was the last time someone moved your body for you? An unexpected yet a serious question!
Not a massage. Not a yoga class. Not you trying to stretch on your living room floor for three distracted minutes before giving up.
We sit too much. We train hard but recover poorly. We carry stress in our necks, hips, jaws. And most of us know we’re tight, but we just don’t quite know what to do about it.
Stretched is built around a simple but surprisingly rare to find idea: what if someone clinically trained guided your body into deeper, safer stretches than you could achieve alone?
You lie back. You breathe. They move you. And for 50 minutes, your only job is to relax.
What the gift experience is
Stretched offers 1-to-1 assisted stretching sessions in a calm, clinically led studio environment. Their Edinburgh location is the newest addition, with established studios in Glasgow and Manchester.
Unlike stretching on your own, this is fully guided. A trained Stretch Therapist moves your body through controlled dynamic stretches, targeting areas of tension and stiffness while supporting you safely through deeper ranges of motion.
If it’s your first visit, your session begins with a mobility assessment using motion analysis technology (Physmodo/Kinotek). This measures your flexibility and joint range, forming the basis of a personalised stretch plan before your 50-minute assisted session begins.
There’s also a 25-minute Express Stretch option if you want to target specific areas like lower limbs, and some locations offer contrast therapy add-ons such as sauna and cold plunge.
This isn’t spa fluff. It’s clinically informed recovery, delivered in a space that still feels welcoming and calm.
Who it’s for
Best for:
Office workers with tight hips, neck and shoulders
Gym-goers and runners who train hard but skip mobility
Anyone feeling stiff, restricted or “not moving like they used to”
Partners looking for a genuinely useful Valentine’s or birthday gift
People who prefer structured, guided wellness over DIY routines
Not ideal for:
Those wanting a traditional relaxing massage
People expecting a passive spa treatment with no mobility work
Variations
If it’s your first session, the recommended option is the 50-minute Assisted Stretch, which includes a mobility assessment and personalised stretch plan.
But if you're really short on time, then the 25-minute Express Stretch focuses on key areas.
In some locations, you can also pair your stretch with sauna and cold water contrast therapy for a more performance-focused recovery session.
Gift cards are available online, making this an easy, practical wellness present, especially for someone who “has everything” but constantly complains about tight hamstrings.
Our Take & How to Enhance the Experience
This is one of those gifts that definitely feels unexpected — but lands incredibly well, once they've been, hehe.
We’ve seen people gift this for Valentine’s Day and get the reaction: “Best present I’ve ever bought him.” And that makes sense. It’s practical, but it also somehow feels premium.
There’s something different about having someone else move you safely into positions you’d never reach alone. You realise how much range you’ve quietly lost. And then you feel it come back.
It’s especially powerful if:
You sit at a desk all day.
You train hard but never stretch properly.
You’re carrying low-level tension that you’ve normalised.
To make the most of it, book it on a day without rushing afterwards. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring fresh socks. You know us, our favourite is to add a sauna or cold therapy for a full recovery ritual.
And if gifting, suggest they book it when they’re not squeezed between meetings. The real benefit comes when the nervous system gets time to settle afterwards.
